Banda sueca formada em 1967 pelos remanescentes do “Taste Blues”. Lançou seu disco de estréia em 1971, um excelente disco, contendo uma mistura de ritmos alucinantes, passando pelo Hard/Progressivo, blues, psicodélico e jazz. Resultando em um som caprichado, com uma ótima estrutura musical, as letras são cantadas em sueco. Com o fim da banda Claes Ericsson e Robban Larsson gravaram dois discos com a banda de jazz-rock "Lotus" nos anos setenta. Em 2004 o Asoka retorna as atividades, sendo lançado em 2007 o seu segundo disco, o álbum "36 Years Later".
